  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We will retain any personal information submitted by you for fulfillment of the intended purposes for which such is collected. We will establish minimum and maximum retention periods based upon the type of information collected (i.e., sensitivity), the intended purposes and as otherwise may be legally required. We will retain your personal information for as long as you use the Site and until you request to delete your data.

We also may collect de-identified personal information in which all personal and individually identifiable elements have been removed. De-Identified information is used in a collective manner for analyses and statistics in order to improve the Site.  De-Identified information does not personally identify a specific user.  This includes any statistical analysis derived from the efficiency and performance of the Site or any resultant data for the real estate investments made available through the Site.  We may use de-Identified information to improve the efficiency, performance and offerings of the Site. We also may sell or share such de-identified Information with others.

Sharing Personal Information

We use social media in different ways and for different purposes. Secure Information Transmissions does not retain on its servers any Personal Information comprising credit cards, ACH or other financial accounts; instead we contract with nationally recognized third party service providers to handle all collection, storage and processing of credit card or financial information submitted by you.  All such third party service providers are responsible for to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the credit card or financial account information provided by you.

We physically secure the areas where we hold hard copies of the information that we collect online. We regularly back up the information that we collect online to insure against loss. We use technical controls to secure the information that we collect online as appropriate, including but not limited to: hash technology, encryption, firewalls, and password protections. We disclose the minimum amount of Personal Information as necessary for the particular purpose in compliance with applicable law.


Accessing Your Personal Information

We want your account (including without limitation, your Personal Information and preferences) to be accurate and complete. To update or change or correct your Personal Information, visit our account login page and log on to your own account. You can update your Personal Information after logging in to your account. You also can send your updated Personal Information by mail (or a written request for a hard-copy of your Personal Information in your account) to our Privacy Manager at the contact address listed below.
